From March 30 to April 5, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic held the 6th edition of UM6P Science Week under the theme “Convergence(s)” within its campuses in Benguerir and Laayoune.

The event brought together more than 2,700 participants, including students, researchers, and more than 100 national and international experts, professors, and practitioners, reflecting continued engagement from academic and professional stakeholders.

The program included conferences, thematic panels, and workshops aimed at exploring interdisciplinary approaches and fostering dialogue across fields. Sessions addressed the intersections of science, technology, and the humanities, with a focus on global challenges such as climate change, artificial intelligence, sustainable development, healthcare, education, and entrepreneurship.

Discussions highlighted the role of collaborative frameworks and integrated knowledge systems in addressing complex societal issues. As part of this edition, PhD students presented research projects from their respective schools and departments, illustrating ongoing research across the university and UM6P’s commitment to addressing major challenges. Also, throughout the week, an exhibition featuring stands from several departments showcased ongoing research projects and initiatives across the university.
