On the 12th of January, AI Movement, in collaboration with the Ministry of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform (MTNRA), signed a framework agreement at the University’s Campus in Rabat. The partnership aims to accelerate Morocco’s digital transformation by strengthening national AI capabilities and gradually implementing AI-enabled public services.
The agreement was signed by Mrs. Amal El Fallah Seghrouchni, Minister Delegate in charge of Digital Transition and Administrative Reform, and President Mr. Hicham El Habti. It outlines areas of collaboration to develop AI skills and deploy tools in public services.
A central component of the agreement is the creation of a National School of Artificial Intelligence for the Public Sector, designed to assist public agencies in enhancing their skills, adopting AI technologies, and establishing governance standards for responsible AI use. Training programs will address practical AI solutions, ethical deployment, and implementation strategies in government organizations.
As part of the AI Made in Morocco national meeting, the Jazari Root Institute was established as a coordination hub for a national network of Jazari Institutes. It will support research, technological development, and the integration of scientific work into administrative applications across Morocco’s regions.
