AIRESS Institute seminar discussed legal interpretation in regional human rights courts

<p>On the 17^th&nbsp;of September, the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) held a research seminar at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic Campus in Rabat, in the presence of Mrs. Laurence Burgorgue-Larsen, Professor of Public Law at the University of Paris 1 Panthéon-Sorbonne.</p>

<p>The lecture analyzed how African, Inter-American, and European human rights courts interpret the law to protect democracy, highlighting both challenges and achievements. The session included exchanges with students and faculty members, emphasizing the contribution of legal frameworks to accountability, governance, and the rule of law.</p>
