On the 8th of December, Al Moutmir, in collaboration with the Africa Initiative entity, held a conference at UM6P Campus in Benguerir centered on farming extension and advisory systems in Africa.
The event brought together experts, innovators, and farmers’ organizations to discuss the role of advisory models in supporting agricultural transformation.
The dialogue addressed approaches linking research to field practice, climate-smart farming techniques, digital tools for advisory services, inclusion of women and youth, and integrated ecosystems and business models, with Morocco presented as a case example. The session offered participants a platform to exchange ideas and explore ways to adapt advisory systems to local contexts throughout the continent.
