ASARI organized a workshop on best practices for improving saline soil health

The African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) organized a workshop focused on sustainable saline soil management and profitable forage production, within UM6P Campus in Laayoune.

During the two-day workshop, researchers, agronomists, and 50 participants shared insights on halophyte evaluation, controlled-release fertilizers, and techniques to improve soil health. Field demonstrations on regenerative and profitable silage maize production were also conducted.

The event contributed to advancing ongoing discussions on enhancing agricultural resilience in Southern Morocco.
