Authors’ Masterclass with Pr. Fouad Laroui on Life, Honor, and Fantasia

On the 16th of December, the Learning Center held an authors’ masterclass with Professor Fouad Laroui on his book ‘‘Life, Honor, and Fantasia’’, at UM6P Campus in Benguerir. The session provided a space for discussion and reflection on the ideas explored in the work.

During the presentation, Pr. Laroui spoke about the book's origins and reflected on his writing approach, including his decision to avoid folklorizing personal experiences. The discussion covered themes such as honor, personal freedom, the conflict between social norms and individual aspirations, and the use of irony in his literary work.

This gathering offered participants an opportunity to explore how literature can address social issues and promote critical thinking.
