Conference Addressed Research on Scalable Aluminum-Based Metal Organic Frameworks Synthesis

On the 7th of January, the Applied Chemistry & Engineering Research – Centre of Excellence organized a conference titled “Synthesis Mechanisms of a Novel, Scalable Route to Al-Based MOFs” with Professor David Farrusseng, Senior research scientist at the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CRS) - Lyon University, France

The event brought together 100 participants from various scientific backgrounds, including students, researchers, and industry professionals. During the conference, Professor Farrusseng explained his research on the discovery and development of aluminum based metal organic frameworks (MOFs), focusing on synthesis methods and scalability.

The session provided an opportunity to discuss emerging materials research and the potential uses of MOFs in academic and industrial settings.
