Eco-Innovate Hackathon 2025 fostered collaboration for sustainable agriculture

From the 24th to the 26th of October, the International Association of Students in Agricultural and Related Sciences (IAAS-UM6P), in collaboration with Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement, AgriEdge, and the Africa Business School, hosted the Eco-Innovate Hackathon 2025, a three-day innovation challenge dedicated to advancing sustainability in climate-smart and precision agriculture, at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.
The event brought together students from both the Benguerir and Rabat campuses. Participants worked in teams, joined expert-led sessions with AgriEdge, and developed innovative prototypes aimed at shaping a more sustainable agricultural future.
The hackathon provided an opportunity for students to apply knowledge, creativity, and technology to real-world challenges in agriculture and sustainability.
