From the 30th of October to the 1st of November, the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) convened the 2025 Annual Meeting of the Association of Southern European Economic Theorists (ASSET) at UM6P Campus in Rabat.
The event gathered economists and scholars from universities and research institutions across Europe and Africa to share insights and discuss recent developments in analytical and quantitative economics, as well as econometrics.
Participants engaged in parallel sessions, keynote lectures, and panel discussions focusing on theoretical modeling, empirical analysis, and policy-oriented applications. The meeting provided an opportunity for exchange and collaboration among researchers addressing current global economic challenges through advanced economic theory.
