On the 19th of January, UM6P Explorer launched the “Explorer Forum: Inside Moroccan Founders’ Journeys,” a new discussion series dedicated to entrepreneurship in Morocco. The inaugural session took place at StartGate in Benguerir and brought together founders, students, and members of the entrepreneurial ecosystem.
Speakers included Kamal El Hardouzi, Founder and CEO of Woliz; Walid Daou, Founder and CEO of Cleverlytics; and Ali Khyatti, Co-Founder and CEO of Thinkable AI Morocco. The discussion was moderated by Marwan Hassoun, Executive Director of UM6P Explorer and Director of Partnerships at MIT Sandbox.
The session explored the realities of building startups, highlighting decision-making processes, timing, and the absence of a single entrepreneurial trajectory. Through open dialogue, founders shared insights into their experiences and the diverse approaches used to develop new ventures.
