From the 22nd to the 25th of July, the Faculty of Medical Sciences (FMS), in collaboration with Morocco Sim, organized the inaugural Medical Education Summer School (MESS 2026) for its faculty members at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.
The event combined two complementary components: a Healthcare Simulation Masterclass led by Pr. Mohamed Mouhaoui, President of Morocco Sim and a professor at University Hassan II of Casablanca, focusing on simulation principles and scenario design, and a series of workshops on active learning and educational innovation led by Pr. Maryame Fourtassi, a professor at the University of Abdelmalek Essaâdi, covering teaching methods, assessment, and clinical supervision.
Alongside the program, Summer X mentoring sessions were held for FMS students, providing opportunities for interaction between educators and learners and reinforcing the University's commitment to excellence in medical education.
