From the 22nd to the 23rd of January, the Communications and Public Relations Office, in collaboration with Executive Education in Science, Technology, and Health, held the second module of the basic science communication program titled “Green Energy: Shaping a Sustainable Future" at the University’s Campus in Benguerir as part of the UM6P Media Academy initiative.
The training introduced journalists to key components of the energy transition, including renewable energy systems, battery technologies, green hydrogen, green chemistry, and industrial decarbonization. Discussions covered how these technologies function, their applications, and their limitations to support accurate and informed reporting on sustainability topics.
The program also included visits to living labs where participants observed research environments and real-world applications related to energy transition technologies.
