On the 22nd of April, the Innovation and Entrepreneurship Lab at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, in collaboration with the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, the Renewable Energy Solutions for Africa Foundation (RES4Africa), and the Enel Foundation, hosted the GreenUp Morocco 2026 Demo Day at the Business Center within UM6P Campus in Benguerir.
The event marked the conclusion of the first cohort’s incubation phase, during which 10 selected startups presented their projects and progress to a partner committee. The presentations provided an overview of each venture’s technical development, market positioning, and implementation strategies, enabling direct exchange with institutional and industry stakeholders.
The showcased solutions addressed renewable energy, green technologies, and sustainable development, demonstrating practical approaches to Morocco’s energy transition. Discussions with the evaluation panel provided feedback on scalability, operational readiness, and alignment with sector priorities, contributing to the next phase of development for the selected startups.
