On the 10th of February, the Geology & Sustainable Mining Institute (GSMI) held two seminars presenting complementary perspectives on geoscience, at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.
Dr. Susan Turner gave a lecture on the history of geology and paleontology in Australia, emphasizing the contributions of women to the field. As part of the Research Progress Seminar Series, PhD candidate Aymeric Rogé discussed how Morocco's phosphate basins offer insights into environmental change and biological evolution through geological records.
Together, the session linked historical reflection to ongoing research on climate and ecosystem dynamics.
