On the 9th of October, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic received Her Excellency Ms. Sadia Faizunnesa, Ambassador of Bangladesh to the Kingdom of Morocco, accompanied by Mr. Rajib Tripura, Counselor and Head of Chancery, at its Campus in Benguerir. The visit focused on academic cooperation, research, and opportunities for Bangladeshi students at the University.
The delegation was received by Mr. Hicham El Habti, President of UM6P, along with UM6P representatives to explore the University’s model, research priorities, and innovation ecosystem. The program included visits to the College of Agriculture and Environmental Sciences, 1337 Coding School, and the UM6P Sports Department, providing an overview of the University’s learning by doing approach, research activities, and student environment.
Discussions focused on opportunities for Bangladeshi students to study at the University, particularly in agriculture and research, as well as prospects for joint scientific projects and continuing education programs. The exchanges also took place within the broader context of agricultural cooperation between Morocco and Bangladesh, including initiatives involving OCP Foundation and OCP Nutricrops.
