From the 17th to the 19th of April, the E-Tech Student Club, in collaboration with EMINES – School of Industrial Management and Student Organizations, Leadership and Engagement (SOLE), hosted the 8th edition of the National Robotics Competition at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.
The event brought together students from more than 20 engineering schools across Morocco under the theme “Industrial Mobility.” The program featured a 24-hour hackathon in which 30 teams designed, built, and programmed bipedal robots.
Participants addressed challenges in navigation, obstacle management, and object manipulation, simulating industrial applications such as logistics, inspection, and handling. At the end of the event, a team from UM6P placed third in the competition.
