UM6P - GREEN TECH INSTITUTE (GTI) is a structure within UM6P set up in partnership with Green Energy Park and dedicated to training, applied research, and innovation in the fields of renewable energies, smart grids, and manufacturing industries.
The GTI aims to train future technical managers in various industrial specialties combining renewable energy, green processes, and advanced technologies, particularly those related to industrial digitalization and Industry 4.0. It also aims to develop innovative applied research to address the new challenges facing Morocco and Africa in these fields.
The master's program focuses on the fundamentals of electrical engineering, renewable energies, smart grids, and technical project management: design, sizing, installation, monitoring, control, management, optimization, and maintenance of systems.
The topics covered focus primarily on the modernization of existing electrical networks, the deployment of renewable energies, the optimization of decentralized production, energy supply security, and the limitation of global warming, which have become key issues in Morocco and across Africa.
You will carry out a significant amount of experimentation on advanced technical platforms that reproduce different industrial contexts, complemented by teaching of cross-disciplinary skills that are essential for entering the professional world: soft skills, communication, quality, and hygiene.
