From October 1-2, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic participated in the World Power-to-X Summit, organized under the high patronage of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, in collaboration with the aegis of the Ministry of Energy Transition and Sustainable Development, the Research Institute for Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN) and the GreenH2 Cluster.
During the two-day event, UM6P representatives engaged with participants on the university’s model, vision, and mission regarding energy transition and hydrogen.
Green Energy Park signed an agreement to launch the GREAT-H₂ project (GIS-driven Renewable Energy Assessment and Transition Tool for Hydrogen Production, Planning, Storage, and Grid Integration). The project was developed in collaboration with the Energy Pool Flexibility Maroc, and Energy Pool Development France. It was selected under the Inno France–Maroc Green H₂ Tech Transfer joint call, launched by IRESEN, SATT Paris-Saclay, and the French Development Agency.
This edition also served as a platform for investment commitments, including projects in green ammonia, industrial fuels, and low-carbon steel, within the framework of Morocco’s national hydrogen strategy.
