From the 3rd to the 6th of November, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, through its Student Affairs Department, organized “The Road of History” event, a multi-campus, intercultural initiative commemorating the 50th Anniversary of the Green March.
The program brought together students, staff, and community members from the Rabat, Benguerir, and Laayoune campuses in a celebration of unity, creativity, and shared national identity. Over the four days, participants engaged in dialogue sessions, artistic activities, and reflective discussions, honoring Morocco’s legacy while reaffirming UM6P’s commitment to civic engagement and collaboration.
The journey began on the 3rd of November at the Rabat Campus, continued on the 4th of November at the Benguerir Campus, and concluded on the 6th of November in Laayoune with a commemorative ceremony celebrating peace, unity, and national pride.
A key highlight of the event was the 3 collaborative artistic tributes, featuring a collective painting to which participants added their touches and brushstrokes, a symbolic gesture of unity and shared creation across all campuses.
“The Road of History” reflected UM6P’s mission to foster an engaged and forward-looking youth, connected to its history while contributing to the building of a shared future.
