On the 20th of November, Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement hosted a screening of “Atoman”, a Moroccan film produced by Mr. Anouar Moatassim, a member of UM6P Associates Network.
The event took place at UM6P Benguerir Campus and brought together students and community members for an evening focused on culture and artistic expression.
Atoman features a Moroccan superhero inspired by Amazigh history, mythology, and heritage. Through the character of Hakim, played by Lartiste, the film explores themes of power, identity, and human potential. The screening highlighted the connection between cultural stories, creative storytelling, and the role of new technologies in modern cinema.
Following the projection, a conversation with the producer provided students with insights into the film’s creative process and broader reflections on the development of Moroccan filmmaking.
