From the 24th to the 27th of November, the Sustainable Development Office, in collaboration with the Agricultural Innovation and Technology Transfer Center, organized a new series of “Plant It Forward” sessions at UM6P Experimental Farm, as part of the third edition of the initiative, launched in April 2025.
Over three days, students from 1337 and SAP+D schools took part in six planting sessions, during which they planted more than 80 olive trees. Their efforts supported ongoing initiatives to offset part of UM6P’s carbon footprint from air travel.
The activity promoted teamwork, environmental awareness, and hands-on engagement with nature. Participants also gained insight into the role of trees in enhancing climate resilience and capturing carbon.
