On the 25th of November, the Division of Entrepreneurship & Venturing, in collaboration with the Morocco Fintech Center (MFC), hosted the fourth Sprint of the Winter 2025 cohort of the Morocco Fintech Accelerator (MFA).
The Sprint formed part of ongoing efforts within the MFA to boost the capacity of fintech startups. It focuses on investment readiness and fundraising. The Sprint provided participating fintechs with an opportunity to present their solutions to five Moroccan venture capital firms, including UM6P Ventures. These interactions helped founders improve their investment narratives, clarify their positioning, and understand what institutional investors usually expect.
The program also included a session led by two partners from a legal firm on understanding key term sheet provisions and preparing for due diligence. The workshop provided insights into the legal and financial aspects of investment agreements, supporting founders as they prepare for negotiations and due diligence.
