On the 27th of November, Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement hosted a screening of Atoman, a Moroccan film produced by Mr. Anouar Moatassim, a member of the UM6P Associates Network.
During the event at the University’s Campus in Rabat, the film Atoman introduced a character inspired by Amazigh history, mythology, and heritage. Through the story of Hakim, portrayed by Lartiste, the film explores themes related to power, identity, and the influence individuals may have on societal trajectories. The screening reflected ongoing intersections between cultural narratives, creative expression, and technology-supported filmmaking.
Following the screening, a discussion with the producer offered students insights into the film’s creative process and broader reflections on contemporary Moroccan cinema.
