On the 18th of December, the Language Center organized ‘‘Noor Al Lougha,’’ an event celebrating World Arabic Language Day, at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.
The program brought together students, faculty, and staff members for a series of academic and cultural activities. Contributions from students across various schools, including the Faculty of Medical Sciences, the School of Architecture, Planning, and Design, and the School of Industrial Management Engineering, demonstrated interdisciplinary engagement with the Arabic language.
Participants also took part in an interactive language village with calligraphy workshops, storytelling areas, and themed stations highlighting the importance of Arabic in knowledge creation and cultural expression.
The event offered an opportunity to reflect on the role of Arabic as a language of education, creativity, and cultural identity within UM6P community.
