The Geology & Sustainable Mining Institute (GSMI) hosted a new session of its Research Seminar, gathering researchers, faculty members, and students for a scientific exchange.
The session included a presentation by Bouziane Khalloufi titled "Exquisite Preservation of Soft Tissues in a Herring-like Fossil Fish from the Cretaceous of Morocco." The presentation explored cases of soft-tissue fossilization and discussed preservation processes that offer insights into the structure and function of marine ecosystems during the Cretaceous period in Morocco.
The seminar ended with a discussion among participants, showing interest in interdisciplinary approaches within Earth science research.
