This week, more than 80 stakeholders from Boujdour took part in a series of applied workshops led by the African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute, in collaboration with the Fondation Phosboucraa. The sessions focused on biosaline agriculture, aromatic and medicinal plants, algae-based products, food processing, and marketing strategies suited to arid environments.
The workshops provided practical guidance tailored to local conditions, covering production methods, product quality, and market access. Participants included farmers, technicians, cooperatives, and local stakeholders, with significant involvement from rural women.
These activities form part of a broader program targeting 850 beneficiaries across nine provinces, promoting locally adapted agricultural practices and encouraging community participation.
