On the 20th of January, AI Movement and the Dakhla Atlantic Port Development Authority held a workshop on applying artificial intelligence to monitoring concrete port structures at UM6P Campus in Rabat.
This follows the partnership agreement signed on October 28, 2025, as part of the Dakhla Atlantic Port Project, a major infrastructure initiative requiring durable concrete quay structures.
Teams from both entities worked on defining the methodological framework, pinpointing technical priorities, and initiating the implementation phase of the applied research program focused on concrete quality control.
The initiative addresses the limitations of traditional inspection methods in large civil engineering projects, particularly in terms of precision, traceability, safety, cost management, and construction timelines.
