Sustainable Development Makers Led Peer Workshops on the 17 Sustainable Development Goals

From the 21st to the 22nd of January, Sustainable Development Makers (SDMs) facilitated a series of interactive workshops to strengthen students' understanding of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The sessions used a peer-learning approach to promote knowledge sharing and collective engagement with sustainability topics.

SDMs introduced the SDGs using examples of initiatives carried out by the Sustainable Development Office. By linking global objectives to local actions, the workshops illustrated how sustainability principles are implemented across various sectors at UM6P.

The sessions enhanced participants’ awareness of the SDGs and underscored the role of student-led initiatives in promoting sustainable practices within the UM6P community.
