The fifth edition of AgriChallenge, as part of the TagDev 2.0 initiative, brought together student teams from universities and TVET institutions for two days of collaborative work focused on challenges in the agri-food sector.
The event emphasized innovation-driven entrepreneurship as vital for a sustainable agri-food system.
Participants engaged in mentoring sessions and interactive workshops to help develop their ideas and transform them into project concepts.
At the end of the competition, teams were recognized in two categories. In the university category, Agriflow Energies took first place, followed by Saqi Smart and Ena Agritech & Ain El Fellah. In the TVET category, Agriminds was awarded first place, with Bio-Diffuce Green and Smart Watering of Tree Roots coming in second and third.
The selected teams will join the Agrifoodtech Incubator, where they will receive support to further develop their projects.
