On the 25th of March, the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) organized a seminar titled “When Timing Matters: Evidence from a Randomized Evaluation of Agricultural Input Access through Village Input Fairs,” as part of its Research Seminar Series at UM6P Campus in Rabat.
The session featured Pr. Andrew Dillon, Assistant Professor at Michigan State University. His presentation focused on how the timing of input distribution affects farmers’ decision-making and access to agricultural resources.
The discussion highlighted how village input fairs can improve adoption rates by addressing seasonal constraints and optimizing resource use, thereby improving agricultural productivity.
