National Public Speaking Competition Strengthened Youth Communication and Leadership Skills

From the 8th to the 12th of June, the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports, in collaboration with The Munathara Initiative, Train-Up, the Moroccan Center for Innovation and Social Entrepreneurship, and University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, held the “Compétition Nationale d'Arts Oratoires – Collèges Pionniers” at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.

Aligned with Morocco’s 2022–2026 Education Reform Roadmap, the initiative aims to strengthen students’ communication, critical thinking, argumentation, and public speaking skills. The competition offered participants opportunities to build confidence, articulate ideas effectively, and engage in constructive dialogue.

The program brought together students from the 12 regions of Morocco through a series of debate and public speaking activities designed to foster analytical thinking, active citizenship, and respect for diverse perspectives.

The event concluded on the 11th of June with an awards ceremony that brought together 150 finalist students, accompanied by teachers, educational supervisors, and representatives of the Ministry of National Education, Preschool and Sports.
