On the 17th and 18th of September, the Africa Institute for Research in Economics and Social Sciences (AIRESS) held the European Union (EU) - Values Conference, titled “Promoting the Green and Digital Transition across Regions,” at the University’s Campus in Rabat.
The two-day conference brought together researchers and experts from across regions to examine the European Union’s role amid evolving economic, technological, and environmental dynamics. It also featured a presentation of the EU Values Survey, which provided a foundation for interdisciplinary discussions and exchanges on approaches to the green and digital transitions.
Through panel discussions and research presentations, participants explored topics including geoeconomics, artificial intelligence regulation, international trade, climate justice, and comparative regionalism.
