From the 29th to the 31st of October, the Socio-Economic Impact Institute (SEII) participated in the Global Social Economy Forum (GSEF 2025), held in Bordeaux, reaffirming its commitment to promoting an inclusive and sustainable economy that places people at the center of social innovation.
Through its flagship initiative, “AL MOUNTIJA,” implemented in collaboration with OCP Group Safi and Act4Community Safi, SEII showcased the impact of its engagement. The program has supported 50 women from rural areas in the Safi province, guiding them through a capacity-building journey that led to the creation and structuring of 10 rural cooperatives.
Among these women, three cooperative presidents attended the forum to present their products and share their experiences, demonstrating how local know-how, cooperation, and social entrepreneurship can drive inclusive and sustainable transformation.
Through this participation, SEII helped showcase Morocco at the forefront of the international dialogue on the social and solidarity economy, reinforcing UM6P’s mission to promote impact-driven research, empowerment, and innovation.
