Students reflected on creativity and expression through visual narratives

On the 16th of October, the Learning Center, through its Cultural Club, hosted a talk session with Mr. Halim Mahmoudi, author and illustrator of the graphic novel Falloujah: My Lost Campaign, at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.

During the talk, Mr. Mahmoudi shared insights into his creative process, illustrating how visual art can convey complex emotions, historical realities, and human experiences. Through examples from his work, he discussed the power of illustration to complement and expand the written word, making stories more accessible and impactful.

The discussion encouraged students to reflect on the role of art in social reflection and storytelling, highlighting how creative expression bridges imagination and understanding.

The session concluded with an exchange, where students shared their perspectives on reading, drawing, and the ways visual narratives can shape empathy and awareness.
