Students strengthened their debating capabilities and public speaking at the debate 101 workshop

On the 10th of November, the Outloud Student Club, in collaboration with Student Organizations, Leadership & Engagement organized Debate 101: The WSDC Debate Format Workshop at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.

Led by Mr. Idriss Naji, professional debater and national champion, the session introduced students to the fundamentals of competitive debating in the World Schools Debate Championship (WSDC) format. Participants explored how to construct structured arguments, develop persuasive cases, and deliver clear, confident speeches.

The workshop created a collaborative environment for students to think critically, strengthen their public speaking, and refine their teamwork and communication skills.
