<p>From the 8th to the 10th of September, the Center for Remote Sensing Applications, in collaboration with the French National Research Institute for Agriculture, Food, and Environment, organized a summer school at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.</p>
<p>Held within the framework of the ESA EO Africa THESM project, the program focused on methods for estimating soil moisture in agricultural areas using Sentinel-1 and Sentinel-2 satellite data. The sessions emphasized the application of remote sensing for advanced agricultural monitoring and reinforced European-Moroccan cooperation in Earth Observation.</p>
<p>The summer school facilitated knowledge exchange and provided specialized training to strengthen participant expertise in continental surface monitoring.</p>
