From the 16th to the 19th of June, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic, through UM6P GLOBAL HUBS – United States and in collaboration with the National Basketball Players Association (NBPA), hosted a delegation composed of NBA players within its Campus in Benguerir.
Building on the momentum of last year's One Court Africa initiative, the program brought together 32 NBA players and guests, African entrepreneurs, investors, and innovation stakeholders to explore entrepreneurship, leadership, innovation, impact investing, and the role of sport as a catalyst for economic and social development.
The event included a learning journey developed in collaboration with the Africa Business School (ABS) and JumpShot, as well as the NBPA – UM6P Innovation Challenge, supported by StartGate. It brought together 6 startups developing innovative solutions with growth and impact potential.
Through discussions, workshops, and ecosystem visits, participants engaged with UM6P’s entrepreneurship, innovation, and venture development platforms, strengthening ties between African and United States ecosystems.
