On the 8th of April, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic (UM6P) and Royale Marocaine d’Assurance (RMA) in Casablanca signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) focused on open innovation, InsurTech, talent development, and applied learning.
The initiative aims to address operational challenges in the insurance sector through joint approaches that combine research, startup engagement, and industry expertise.
As part of the collaboration, an Open Innovation program dedicated to InsurTech will be launched and led by the UM6P Open Innovation Hub. The program will support the identification and development of startups aligned with RMA’s priorities and enable testing and co-development with business teams.
The agreement also includes training and talent development initiatives, such as mentoring, internships, and artificial intelligence projects.
