From the 6th to the 11th of July, the Laboratory of Inorganic Materials for Sustainable Energy Technologies (LIMSET), in collaboration with the German Corporation for International Cooperation (GIZ) Morocco and the Research Institute for Solar Energy and New Energies (IRESEN), organized the 3rd Green Hydrogen Morocco Camp at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.
The event brought together 250 participants, speakers, and experts from across Morocco for six days of technical training on green hydrogen, renewable energy, and Power-to-X technologies. This edition also recorded 60% female participation, reflecting the growing engagement of women in Morocco’s energy transition and in the green hydrogen ecosystem.
The program combined lectures, applied workshops, and collaborative activities covering hydrogen production, electrolysis, renewable energy systems, safety standards, and the economic aspects of the hydrogen value chain.
Participants also visited research and innovation platforms, including the Green Energy Park and the Green and Smart Building Park, to connect classroom learning with applied research and with industrial infrastructure.
