The African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute (ASARI) received a delegation from the Universities of the Canary Islands at UM6P Campus in Laâyoune.
The delegation included Pr. Francisco Javier García Rodríguez, President of the University of La Laguna; Professor María del Mar Tavio Pérez, Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences at the University of Las Palmas de Gran Canaria; and representatives from Ibn Zohr University, who were welcomed by Pr. Lamfeddal Kouisni, Director of ASARI.
The visit included tours of the African Sustainable Agriculture Research Institute’s laboratories, research platforms, and experimental greenhouses, providing an overview of ongoing work across sustainable agriculture, water management, biotechnology, and climate resilience.
