eTrade.ma Launched to Strengthen Morocco’s Digital Transformation of the Export Ecosystem

On the 6th of July, the Secretary of State for Foreign Trade officially launched “eTrade.ma” at University Mohammed VI Polytechnic Campus in Benguerir. The launch ceremony was attended by Mr. Omar Hejira, Secretary of State for Foreign Trade, and representatives from UM6P and Morocco’s export ecosystem.

As part of the 2025–2027 Foreign Trade Program, the national e-commerce platform aims to increase the visibility of Moroccan exporters by connecting them with international buyers through a digital marketplace. The initiative was developed in partnership with several national institutions, including UM6P and OCP Foundation.

By 2028, the platform aims to support approximately 1,000 exporting companies and contribute to an estimated 15 billion Moroccan dirhams in additional export revenue.

Two cooperation agreements were signed at the event: one to strengthen the integration of eTrade.ma with the National Single Window for Foreign Trade Procedures, and another to develop integrated logistics services to support the platform.
