FEMMPACT II Closing Ceremony Reinforced Women’s Entrepreneurship in Africa

On the 25th of June, UM6P and its partners organized the closing ceremony for the second edition of the Promoting Female Entrepreneurship (FEMMPACT II) program within the University’s Campus in Rabat.

This initiative is led by the Kingdom of Morocco and the Federal Republic of Germany through the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ). The program is implemented by the Moroccan Agency for International Cooperation (AMCI) and the Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ), in collaboration with the UM6P Social Innovation Lab (SIL) and the partner countries of Benin, Mauritania, and Togo.

The second edition supported 104 women entrepreneurs through a structured entrepreneurship program covering ideation, market validation, business model development, and venture acceleration. The initiative also produced 18 minimum viable products across sectors, including agrifood, renewable energy, and technology.

In parallel, nine entrepreneurship support organizations from partner countries participated in a capacity-building program in Morocco, strengthening regional entrepreneurship support ecosystems through knowledge exchange and institutional collaboration.
