From the 2nd to the 4th of October, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic welcomed the second cohort of Mastercard Foundation Scholars for a three-day Onboarding Weekend at its Benguerir Campus.

The Program now brings together more than 100 young women from 14 African countries, enrolled in 12 schools and across various academic disciplines at the University’s Rabat and Benguerir campuses.

Bringing together Scholars from both cohorts, the University’s representatives, and members of the Mastercard Foundation for sessions on leadership, well-being, academic and career development, entrepreneurship, and university life.

Participants also learned about the resources, opportunities, and support available throughout their academic journey. Through this initiative, the program supported the integration of new Scholars and strengthened peer learning, connections, and community engagement among young women from across Africa.
