On the 16th of December, UM6P GLOBAL HUBS - France organized the second edition of ‘‘Scène de dialogue & d’inspiration’’, a session focused on African women in sports. The event brought together athletes, leaders, and stakeholders from sports communities representing the African diaspora.

University Mohammed VI Polytechnic hosted His Excellency Sanjay Rana, Ambassador of India to Morocco, within its Campus in Benguerir.

This week, University Mohammed VI Polytechnic participated in the Global Refugee Forum Progress Review 2025 held in Geneva and organized by the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR). The event reviewed progress on commitments made during the 2023 Global Refugee Forum in support of the Global Compact on Refugees and outlined priorities ahead of the 2027 Forum.

On the 18th of December, the Language Center organized ‘‘Noor Al Lougha,’’ an event celebrating World Arabic Language Day, at UM6P Campus in Benguerir.

On the 18th of December, the Geology & Sustainable Mining Institute hosted Professor Cécile Bulle from the University of Quebec in Montreal (UQAM), and a senior researcher at the Center for Life Cycle Assessment and Sustainable Transition (CIRAIG), for a seminar on life cycle and sustainability assessment, within UM6P Campus in Benguerir.

On the 18th of December, the Cyborgs Workshop was held at UM6P Campus in Benguerir and focused on embedded systems and hands-on applications using Arduino and ESP32 platforms.

The Green Energy Park, represented by Dr. Abdelilah Rochd, took part in the kick-off meeting of the PVSmile project in Athens. The project is funded through the Horizon Europe Program of the European Commission.

On the 16th of December, the AI Movement, in collaboration with the Center for Doctoral Studies, launched the opening session of the mandatory “Introduction to Artificial Intelligence” course, at the University’s Campus in Rabat.

On the 18th of December, the Geology & Sustainable Mining Institute organized a seminar led by Professor Alain Prinzhofer on the theme: “The Promise of Natural Hydrogen: The Energy Revolution Begins,” at the University’s Campus in Benguerir.

On the 16th of December, the Learning Center held an authors’ masterclass with Professor Fouad Laroui on his book ‘‘Life, Honor, and Fantasia’’, at UM6P Campus in Benguerir. The session provided a space for discussion and reflection on the ideas explored in the work.
